Agree a time to give your loved one a reflexology session and to receive one. Once you have both en joyed the treatments, sit opposite each other and use relaxation techniques playfully.

 

REFLEX AREAS/POINTS THAT WILL BE WORK
• Head
• Entire spine
• Diaphragm
• Thyroid
• Lungs
• Ascending colon
• Descending colon

HEAD REFLEX AREA

Support the big toe with the fingers of one hand. Use your other thumb to walk up from the neckline to the top of the big toe. Repeat this several times in lines up the toe.



DIAPHRAGM REFLEX AREA

Flex the foot back with one hand to create skin tension. Use the thumb of your other hand to work under the metatarsal heads, across from the lateral to the medial aspect of the foot. Use slow steps and repeat this movement six times.



 

 

ASCENDING COLON REFLEX AREA

This reflex area is only found on the right foot Use your left thumb to walk up zone four from the redness of the heel. Continue in this manner until you get halfway up the foot Work the ascending colon reflex area four times in slow movements to help keep the colon clean.

 

 

DESCENDING COLON REFLEX AREA

This reflex area is only found on the left foot. Use your right thumb to walk up zone four from the redness of the heel, to work this part of the colon. Continue in this manner until you arrive halfway up the foot. Work this reflex area six times and in slow movements to help stimulate the peristaltic musculor action of the colon.
