Post- natal depression may be experienced as overwhelming and debilitating listlessness. Simple tasks surrounding the baby lor life in general) may be hard to cope with.

This may not surface until weeks after the birth, and the true depths of post-natal depression may not occur until the baby is three to six months old.

PITUITARY REFLEX POINT

Support the big toe with the Fingers of one hand, and use your other thumb to make a cross to Find the centre of the big toe. Place your thumb into the centre, push in and make circles For 25 seconds.

THYROID REFLEX AREA

Use your thumb to work the ball of the Foot From the diaphragm line all the way up to the neckline. Repeat this movement slowly ten times over the area to help restore energy levels.

 

 

LIVER REFLEX AREA

This reflex area is only found on the right foot. Support the foot with your right hand, and place your left thumb just underneath the diaphragm line. Work slowly and precisely, horizontally across the foot, into zones five and four and just into zone three. Proceed in one direction. Continue in this manner until just above the redness of the heel. Complete the liver reflex movement six times.

 

LUNG REFLEX AREA

Flex the foot back with one hand to create skin tension. Use the thumb of your other hand to work up from the diaphragm line to the eye/ear general area. You should be working in between the metatarsals. Repeat this process seven times, making sure you have worked in between all the metatarsals.
